MTB Event Calendar: Rides and Races in Bosnia and Herzegovina
The MTB Evolution MTB event calendar is the central place to plan your riding season: group MTB rides, enduro training sessions, marathons and races organised by our club, plus the most important MTB events run by other clubs across Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Upcoming events appear in the calendar below. When nothing is currently scheduled, the calendar stays empty until the next announcement, and you can browse the completed 2026 editions in the archive.
Every event in the MTB event calendar has its own page with the date, a description and, where available, a route with a GPX track, distance, elevation gain and ITRS difficulty. You can compare routes on the MTB routes in BiH page, and international races are run under UCI rules.
Weather-related changes to the MTB event calendar are posted on this page and on the club's social media, usually 24 to 48 hours before the start.

MTB Event Calendar: How to Register and Prepare
Registration and gear depend on the type of event. The details are always on the event page.
Registration
Registration is required for races and rides with a limited number of participants. Instructions, deadlines and entry fees are on the event page, while for relaxed club rides it is usually enough to show up at the meeting point.
Gear
A helmet is mandatory at all events organised by MTB Evolution. For enduro rides we recommend knee and elbow pads and a full-face helmet.
Route difficulty
Next to each route we list the distance, elevation gain and ITRS difficulty, so you can judge whether it suits your fitness.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions about our rides
Who can take part in MTB Evolution rides?
Rides are open to beginners and experienced riders alike. Most recreational group MTB rides are open and free, while for more demanding enduro sessions we recommend previous experience on forest and rocky trails.
How do I know if an event suits my fitness level?
The event description lists the distance, elevation gain, surface type and technical difficulty according to the ITRS system. If you have any doubts, get in touch before registering.
Do I need special protective gear?
A helmet is mandatory at all events organised by MTB Evolution. For easier XC rides, a bike in good working order, a spare inner tube and water are enough, while for enduro rides we recommend pads, goggles and a full-face helmet.
Does the calendar also show events by other clubs from BiH?
Yes. Besides club rides, the MTB event calendar includes notable marathons, MTB races in Bosnia and Herzegovina and cycling events organised by other clubs across the country.
What happens if the weather is bad on ride day?
For safety reasons we reserve the right to cancel or postpone events (heavy rain, landslides, thunderstorms). Changes are posted on this page and on the club's social media, usually 24 to 48 hours before the start.
How do I register, and what if there are no events in the calendar right now?
Registration depends on the event, and the instructions are on its page. New events are added to the MTB event calendar as soon as they are confirmed; until then, check the archive of completed 2026 editions and the routes on the MTB routes in BiH page.
