About the trail

Roller Coaster Trail: a black diamond at Bike Park Evolution

Roller Coaster Trail is one of the most exciting trails at Bike Park Evolution in East Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is 1.4 km long with 174 metres of descent, delivering the adrenaline and technical challenge that attracts the most experienced riders. The trail is designed to make the most of the natural terrain, balancing speed, corners and technical sections.

Roller Coaster Trail at a glance

  • Length 1.4 km, descent 174 m.

Roller Coaster Trail is a fast, dynamic flow/enduro trail with a natural dirt surface, offering a constant rhythm and excellent riding flow. It combines four big berms, several short steep sections and a series of smaller jumps. Although it is a black diamond on the ITRS scale, the trail rewards riders who combine technique with speed: it starts with a fast descent that puts you in the rhythm straight away. See the park's other trails on the MTB trails at Bike Park Evolution page.

Key sections to master

01

Berms

The trail relies on four massive berms. They demand precise body positioning and an aggressive stance, and your exit speed directly affects the next section.

02

Rock garden

A short but demanding section in the middle. Don't try to ride it slowly: speed carries you over rough ground more easily. Keep your weight on the pedals and let the bike work.

03

Jumps and drops

A series of tables and smaller drops. All are optional and all have a clearly marked chicken line. Check the landing on your first run.

Riding in the wet

The two creek crossings become extremely slippery after heavy rain. Slow down, ride with level, centred pedals and avoid braking hard on rocks.
