01
Bike wheel truing and rim leveling
On a professional truing stand, we remove lateral (wobble) and vertical (hop) deviations. A properly trued wheel is key to strength and durability, reduces the risk of broken spokes and improves power transfer.
Truing
Spoke tension is measured
Uneven spoke tension is a common cause of repeated spoke breakage and a rim that goes out of true faster. That's why we always measure tension.
02
Spoke tension and bike spoke repair
During bike wheel service, spoke tension is checked and evened out with a tension meter. Broken spokes and nipples are replaced as part of bike spoke repair.
Spokes
03
Wheel hub service
Hub service directly affects how freely the wheel spins. We visually inspect hubs and axles, and on traditional cup-and-cone hubs we adjust the cones, replace the ball bearings and re-grease. We recommend servicing traditional bearings once a year.

04
Sealed bearing replacement
Sealed cartridge bearings can't be adjusted, only replaced. The old bearing is pressed out and the new one is installed with specialized presses.
Bearings
Bearing feels rough or has play
As soon as a bearing feels rough or has play, it should be replaced. Sealed cartridge bearings need no maintenance, only replacement.
05
Tire replacement and pressure check
As part of MTB wheel repair and service, we replace inner tubes, valves and rim tape, mount and remove tires, and set the pressure according to the manufacturer's recommendations and your terrain. If you want to ride without inner tubes, check out the tubeless system.

Fine-tuning new wheels
Manufacturers often don't pay enough attention to even spoke tension, so we recommend fine-tuning new wheels too. This prevents them from going out of true early.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions about wheel service
How long does bike wheel truing take as part of bike wheel service?
Truing a wheel, whether it has a rim brake or a disc brake, takes about 30 to 45 minutes per wheel. With serious rim damage or several broken spokes, it can take up to a few hours, and we do our best to finish the same day.
Is truing needed on new wheels too?
It's recommended. Manufacturers often don't pay enough attention to even spoke tension, so fine-tuning ensures the wheel's durability and stability from the very first ride.
How often should hub bearings be serviced?
Hubs with traditional bearings should be disassembled, cleaned and re-greased once a year. Sealed cartridge bearings need no maintenance, only replacement when play or rough rotation appears.
Do you service wheels with sealed cartridge bearings?
Yes. With sealed bearings we don't adjust, we replace: we press out the old bearing and install a new one using specialized presses.
How much does bike wheel service cost?
Bike wheel service costs 20 KM per wheel. Parts (bearings, spokes, nipples, tires) are charged separately, and for more complex hub service you get a quote after diagnostics.
Do I need to book an appointment?
We recommend it. You can book by phone (+387 66 902 418), Viber, WhatsApp or through the booking form.
Do you replace tires and valves on the wheel?
Yes. As part of bike wheel service, we replace inner tubes, valves and rim tape, mount and remove tires and set the pressure.
