What does an e-bike service include?
An e-bike service covers diagnostics of the motor, battery and display using the manufacturer's software, plus a mechanical service. Below are the six parts of the service.

Bosch eBike Systems: Bosch Diagnostic Tool 3
We diagnose Bosch e-bikes with the authorized Bosch Diagnostic Tool 3 software: reading the error history, updating the drive unit, battery and display software, testing the battery and issuing a report. We cover Active Line, Active Line Plus, Performance Line, Performance Line CX and Cargo Line drives, including Smart System.

Shimano STEPS and Di2: E-TUBE PROJECT Professional
Shimano STEPS diagnostics are done with Shimano E-TUBE PROJECT Professional software, for STEPS drives and Di2 electronic shifting: reading errors, updating component firmware and adjusting Di2 functions such as Synchro Shift and Multi-Shift.

Yamaha, Brose and other systems
We do mechanical electric bike repair for all brands, including the Yamaha PW series and Brose drives: drivetrain, brakes, gears, wheels and suspension. For diagnostics on other systems, call to check availability before you come in.

E-bike battery test
The battery is the most expensive component of an e-bike. The manufacturer's software reads its condition and charge cycle count, so you can spot aging early, before a long ride, a purchase or when selling a used e-bike.

Software updates and tuning
We install the latest firmware for the drive unit, battery and display using the manufacturer's software. Where the system and display support it, we adjust assistance levels to your riding style and terrain.

Service report and mechanical service
After diagnostics you get a report with the battery condition, software versions and system check results. If a mechanical problem turns up, we service the bike in the same workshop.

The report documents the condition and regular maintenance of your bike. Warranty terms are set by the bike's manufacturer and seller, so check them for your model.

Frequently asked questions about e-bike service
How much does an e-bike service cost?
Bosch eBike or Shimano STEPS diagnostics cost 50 KM and include a detailed diagnostic report. The e-bike package costs 150 KM. Parts and mechanical work are charged separately.
Which e-bikes do you service?
We run diagnostics for Bosch eBike and Shimano STEPS systems, including Di2. We do mechanical service for e-bikes of all brands, including Yamaha and Brose.
How often should an e-bike be diagnosed?
At least once a year, ideally before the season. Also get diagnostics before buying or selling a used e-bike, after a crash or impact, when an error shows up on the display and when you notice a loss of power.
Does diagnostics extend battery life?
Diagnostics don't restore a battery, but they show its condition and charge cycle count. That way you spot aging early and can adjust how you charge and store the battery.
Do I get a service report?
Yes. The report contains the battery condition, software versions and system diagnostic results.
Does servicing with you affect my e-bike's warranty?
The report documents the condition and regular maintenance of your bike. Warranty terms are set by the bike's manufacturer and seller, so check with them for your specific case.
