About the trail

Deep Forest Trail: a black diamond through dense forest

Deep Forest Trail is a singletrack at Bike Park Evolution that runs through dense conifer forest. It is 537 metres long with 63 metres of descent. The trail was created in 2024, and its line was adjusted several times during construction to make the ride as good as possible.

Deep Forest Trail at a glance

  • Length 537 m, descent 63 m, an average run takes about 45 seconds.
  • Difficulty: black diamond, exposure: high risk.
  • Features: roots, rocks, short drops and natural rollers.
  • E-bikes and dogs are allowed.
  • Recommended gear: an all-mountain or enduro full-suspension bike, helmet, gloves and pads.

Deep Forest Trail combines gentle turns, short drops, natural rollers and sections with roots and rocks, with the shade of conifers in summer. It is great for developing balance, control and speed, but the line is sometimes hard to follow, so ride carefully. It is rated a black diamond on Trailforks; read about the rating system in the ITRS classification. See the park's other trails on the MTB trails at Bike Park Evolution page.

Key sections to master

01

Roots and rocks

Natural obstacles demand balance and speed control. Riding through the roots is fun, but they get slippery after rain.

02

Short drops and rollers

Short drops and natural rollers give the trail its rhythm. Check the landing on your first run and do not force the speed.

03

Forest setting

The dense conifer forest gives shade on summer days, but the line is sometimes hard to follow, so ride carefully.

Riding in the wet

After rain the roots and rocks become extremely slippery. Slow down, ride with level, centred pedals and avoid braking hard.
